About the video: Sound I
Overview
“In this lesson I make a theoretical review of the sound, I show you the frequency spectrum in which the human being recognizes the changes of pressure in the air and the way of understanding the wave that draw those pressure changes within a software in a visual way. I will also try to make the physics of sound more accessible with a couple of anecdotes or situations, which you can later apply when working on a sound if you understand how an environment acts on it.”
In this video lesson Aimar Molero addresses the topic: Sound I, which is part of the Domestika online course: Sound Design and Post-Production for Video and Animation. Learn to add sound, post-produce, and master with Logic Pro X and other software.

“Well. now you know a bit more about me and my influences. and I'm going to briefly explain some very notions about sound. We begin by focusing on how we perceive a wave. Here. i've utilized this sound. a kick. which I find particularly effective for summarizing it. It's a useful tool for interpretation. Essentially. we have a wave depicted on a gray background. with a line indicating time. With this alone. we can already infer that this representation is crucial for understanding sound dynamics and how they sound lasts exactly up to here and no more. On the other hand. we have this other ve...”

Aimar Molero
A course by Aimar Molero
Aimar Molero was born in Barcelona, but he spent his childhood and adolescence in a very small town in Burgos. He began to make music there, and since then he has been endlessly caught up in the world of audio. Luckily, sound design, his speciality, has never ceased to fascinate him, and he has had the good fortune to work with people from all over the world, such as people from Coca-Cola, Orange, TEDx, PlayStation, Discovery Channel, and FAD. However, in his opinion, personal projects are what has most enriched and defined him as a professional.
He studied sound and harmony for three years and learned to play different instruments, but confesses that he plays none of them well. He also completed four Pro Tools courses, a program with which he has developed a deep love-hate relationship over the last several years. After a while, he cut ties with the program and has since been working with Logic Pro X.
