“Watercolor and Polychromes Now that my background is dry, I can work on two things. I'll work on the mirror. While that paint dries, we'll start applying our color pencil intervention. To work on the reflection of our mirror, where I want to get things darker, I'll add a bit of graphite watercolor with a lot of water to be able to let the color underneath shine through and then I'll be able to double the color in those areas I want darker. Your strokes over these colors need to be swift to avoid them blotching, to avoid them mixing with the background. It's okay if they blend. We're doing a...”
