About the final project for: Photo Books: Concept and Use of Materials
Photobooks: conceptualization and materiality
“We have reached the end of the course. Congratulations! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did and that you take all the necessary tools to conceptualize and carry out your first physical photobook mockup. Remember that we understand the photobook as a work and therefore, there are no formulas that apply to all projects. Take the tools we share in the course and use them your way. Do not be afraid to use any structure or strategy that you have seen in other photobooks. Applying it to yours will make it unique. Also remember that the models involve a process of work and refinement. Be patient and do not feel unmotivated if you are not satisfied with the first attempt: we are trying to create complex narratives with images and that takes time. In my experience, if you persevere, you will surely find the way. I look forward to seeing your photobook mockup! You can record a zenith video of the model you have created and share it in the forum. The opinion of colleagues is always very valuable.”
