“Embossed stem stitch Now we'll work on the raised stem stitch on the dash on the Ñ and we'll need the cord. The thickness is about 5 mm diameter. I'll use other scissors. The embroidery ones will become blunt. What you can do to calculate the length, is add 5 mm on each side to not run out. Then we'll cut it, but it's a bit longer than the size we'll work with. He received first prize in the National Crafts Competition, organized by the National Arts Fund.
He has collaborated with brands such as Seletti, Crate & Barrel, El Espartano and Tea Connection. His work has been published in several books and magazines, including: Stich•illo (Uppercase), Encore! The new Artisans (Thames & Hudson), Super Handmade (Designers Book) and DPI Magazine from Taiwan. Some of his works have been on the cover of magazines, such as Farnese the elephant, in Modern Decoration Home (Hong Kong) and Ander the lion, in the British magazine Embroidery.
He has also taught classes and workshops in several countries: Brazil, Mexico, the United States, England, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Spain and France.
