About the final project for: Guided course: Decorate Professional Style Tables

Guided Course: Decorate Tables with Style

“Transform what you've learned into a tangible, personal, and visually impactful experience. This project is designed to help you experiment with styles, materials, and narratives, creating a table that not only looks beautiful but also tells a story. If you don't know where to start, don't worry: we offer five ideas that will help you take that first step with confidence and creativity. Explore, play with combinations, let your intuition speak... and turn your table into a unique expression of your style! 1. Thematic table: a trip without leaving home Design a table inspired by a destination you love: Paris, Kyoto, Marrakech, Buenos Aires... Use colors, textures, and decorative details that evoke that place. Think about how to integrate cultural or culinary elements that enhance the sensory experience. Project example: A Mediterranean-style table with blue and white tableware, fresh lemons, and linen textiles to evoke the coasts of southern Italy. 2. Intimate celebrations: brunch with friends Design a table for a casual yet stylish brunch. Play with fresh colors, light glassware, and wildflowers. The goal here is to create a cozy, relaxed, and photogenic atmosphere, ideal for intimate gatherings. Project example: Brunch table with a mix of vintage plates, patterned napkins, and a centerpiece with seasonal fruits and flowers. 3. Minimalism with character: less is more Create a simple yet elegant display, using a few elements with a strong presence. The key lies in the balance and visual quality of each piece. Perfect for those seeking a modern, Nordic, or Japanese aesthetic. Project example: Monochromatic table in neutral tones, with handmade tableware, matte cutlery, and an arrangement of dried branches as a central detail. 4. Creative mix & match: break the rules with style Combine tableware from different collections, colors, shapes, or eras to create an eclectic and original table. The challenge is to achieve harmony within diversity. Ideal for those who love collecting unique pieces. Project example: Table with mismatched plates but the same color palette, amber-colored glasses, and textiles with mixed patterns. 5. Table for a special occasion Design a complete setup tailored to a specific celebration: an anniversary, a romantic dinner, a family get-together. Choose a visual narrative that connects with the emotion of the moment and reinforce it with details. Project example: Anniversary table with candles, tall glasses, elegant dark-toned tableware, and a velvet table runner. This project is an invitation to view your table as a creative canvas. It's not just about decorating, but about expressing who you are, what you love, and how you want to make your guests feel. Every choice—a flower, a color, a texture—has the power to transform a meal into an unforgettable memory. Don't be afraid to try unexpected combinations, explore new styles, or incorporate elements that speak to you. Your table can be as unique as your vision. So go ahead: play, mix, create, and surprise. And, above all, share your creations with the community. Inspire and be inspired!”
