He was also director of the One Year Illustration and Graphic Novel course at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Madrid and curator of the Madrid City Council's exhibition series La Ciudad en Viñetas between 2012 and 2015. He received the 2018 Barco de Vapor Award and the 2009 Fundación SM International Illustration Award, among others.
