The first yarn I have here is a DK which stands for double knit. That means it's thin. Anything that's 4-ply, DK, means it's thin and needs a small hook. This particular one is a cotton. Cotton obviously comes from a plant and it's really tough. This jumper I'm wearing which is bouncy and fluffy is made of woollen acrylic.
