“We will now look at medium patterns, which are patterns with medium saturation. These are the areas between the shadow areas and the lighter areas. First, we will look at the lace pattern. Lace is a classical pattern which, personally, I think is my favorite classical pattern. It’s called lace, because it resembles flamenco bobbin lace, which was used in that era.
