“We’ll begin working with open patterns. The first one we’ll look at is the plumage pattern. I created this stitch when I was trying to make the graphic of bird feathers. I wanted to imitate the texture as much as possible as it’s very suitable for blackwork. I wanted to make a small graphic so I could represent images of birds.
