“The first thing I do when starting off a new drawing is I figure out the border. I usually start by figuring out how large I want the drawing to be. For this drawing, I've decided to make it roughly 23 centimeters tall and about 14.5 centimeters wide. I've decided this because it fits on the page and it's the size of the display on the iPad, and I kind of like that. So what you need to figure out is how to leave roughly the same amount of space both on each side of your drawing and above and below your drawing.
