“So dialogue can be a really useful tool for moving the plot along, making things happen and also giving us an insight into characters so those characters become the living, moving people that we talked about earlier. And in this lesson, I'm going to be talking to you about how you can do that in your own short story. I'm going to take some examples from my short story, Forgive Us Those, to give you some examples of how dialogue can move the plot along and, as I said, get into the characters. And I want to take you back to where we left that short story where Susie Green is being interviewed...”
