“Composition is one of those things that when it's right, you won't even notice that it's there. But when it's wrong... Something just doesn't feel right. It's one of the hardest things to explain about abstract art. And you might think of it like the bass notes in music. So when the bassist is really doing their thing and they're right on time. The band sounds great. And for me, I don't even notice most of the bass. But if the basis is off, It just sounds wrong. It doesn't fit. And so composition is a lot like that.
