“In this lesson. we will focus on the flower petals. I wanted to show you first the tests I've been doing on my sampler. I made several with Pearl cotton No. 8. which is this. I worked with red and I worked with pink. I wasn't completely convinced. It was too rough for what was to be my final project. I wasn't convinced. so I tried using mouliné thread. I used two strands. and the result was much improved. I also experimented with a variegated thread that shifts colors. similar to what I used previously for the flower's center. Argentine designer Adriana Torres has an eclectic background, having studied architecture, graphic design, fine arts and illustration. His collection of objects received the Seal of Good Design awarded by the Ministry of Industry and was selected to be part of the Argentine pavilions at 100% Design London, Maison & Objet Paris and at Pitti Bimbo, Italy. He received first prize in the National Crafts Competition, organized by the National Arts Fund.

The new Artisans (Thames & Hudson), Super Handmade (Designers Book) and DPI Magazine from Taiwan. Some of his works have been on the cover of magazines, such as Farnese the elephant, in Modern Decoration Home (Hong Kong) and Ander the lion, in the British magazine Embroidery.
He has also taught classes and workshops in several countries: Brazil, Mexico, the United States, England, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Spain and France.
