“ Butterfly Cane Now we'll start to fill in around this. It's ok if the end of your canes doesn't look perfect at this point because once we cut into the center... We'll start with our background color here. The idea is to wrap all the way around this and we'll leave a bit of space in this center area here for the butterfly body. We'll use our beveled cuts again for this butterfly. This will give our butterfly body a little resting point. We will take our beveled edge, and lay it up along this edge leaving a bit of space.
