“So now it's completely dry and we're ready to use the masking film. Masking film is something used for airbrush usually. It's a very clear film, it's glue on one side and it's transparent so I can see what I'm doing. So I like to mask out the whole figure. You might say I don't need to mask it. I can paint around the figure or I can carefully not paint into the figure. And that might be true, that might be what you want to do. The reason why I like to mask it out is not just for convenience. It's for me to be able to use my brush strokes wider, more aggressively, more spontaneous and larger...”
