“In the last lesson, we covered printing techniques. In this lesson, I'm gonna show you how to extract your color by steaming it. Some students are a little confused about the steaming process. It's simply just taking a pot with a little bit of water in it, having a plate of some sort to keep your die piece out of the water, and then the steam filling this chamber and cooking it in a way. But it's a very steamy situation. It's like steaming a dumpling or a vegetable, but if you don't cook that might not be a great reference.
