“Now that we've done all the measuring and the templates for the sideboard, it's time to make it. So to start, I'll talk about the wood a little bit. The wood I've chosen to use is basswood. It's a softer type of wood that you can find in a lot of hobby shops. You can also use balsa wood, another common material for miniature making. The reason that I chose basswood over balsa wood is because it's just slightly tougher to cut through and that means slightly harder to damage if you accidentally you know, nick it a little bit.
