“ The Materials In this lesson, I'll show you the tools I use to paint. We'll talk about what you need and what you don't need. Finally, I'll show you my extra tools on the side for the painting, such as knives and credit cards. I have some brushes that I want to show to you, and each brush has its own use. I have a 2-inch flat brush that I use mostly to wet my paper. If I have a very big paper, I use that to paint. Also I have this Chinese calligraphy brush that I mostly use for the skies or when I'm painting the water. Then I have a couple of different sizes of round brushes from size 12 ...”

Reha Sakar is a Turkish artist based in Vancouver, Canada. He first began painting as a young child with his mother and fellow artist. After studying astronomy at university and working as an insurance broker during the holidays, he soon realized that art was his true passion. From there, he took a course in Photoshop and discovered his talent for 3D art, which kick-started his creative career.
Since then, Reha has worked in digital media for more than 10 years.
