About the video: Researching and Exploring Materials

Overview

“After the sketching phase, you should be left with some loose ideas. Now it's time to really build them out! In this lesson, we will take stock of the items needed to physically create the set. We will pull from existing props, create a shopping list, and decide what needs to be altered. ”

In this video lesson Party of One Studio addresses the topic: Researching and Exploring Materials, which is part of the Domestika online course: Photographic Artwork for Editorial Covers. Blur the lines between photography and illustration to create dynamic editorial compositions through set design, prop styling, and typography.
