As we're two different people coming from different backgrounds, we pull from different sources when looking for inspiration. We often gravitate towards things that straddle the line of art and design and are often drawn to weird things or with an offbeat sense of humor. Party of One Studio
A course by Party of One Studio
Party of One is a creative studio in Brooklyn, New York, led by Melissa Deckert and Nicole Licht. They met while working as in-house designers at Etsy and, in 2018, decided to combine their experience and start their own studio specializing in story-driven visuals for brands, products, and publications.
Melissa and Nicole work closely with clients on a wide range of projects—from set design and visual campaigns, to brand identities, and editorial illustrations. Their commercial clients include Otherland, Sunwink, and Columbia University, and they’ve also created editorial cover artwork for The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal.
