“Now that I've settled on a subject, it's good to analyze it from different standpoints. I'm going to look at the vanishing points at the focal point. I'm going to look at light and shadow. I'm going to look at entourage. and so on as a way to understand the subject before spending time to draw it. For that purpose, I'm going to draw on a layer of trace over the photo reference.
