“ How to Sketch the Scene In the previous lesson, we went outside and took a look at the location that we're going to paint. We found the reference photo that we could reference while sketching. Let's start sketching. The first thing I do when I first start sketching the scene is try to find the horizon line. The horizon line is the first thing I look for in a scene.
