“ The Initial Sketch Once we have our references, we'll start our initial sketch. You can use a graphite pencil if you like but I often use colors from the beginning. For an initial sketch, I like to use colorized pencils from Prismacolor, because I'm able to erase most of the lines. Polychromos from Faber-Castell also work well and I'll use them today. If you don't have colorized pencils, you can use graphite pencils as I said, but remember to erase the graphite when you also have a colorful base, you can do it with a kneadable eraser. Do it gently so you don't erase your colors either. Gr...”
