Take advantage of the tips I gave you throughout the course: • Prepare the place where you are going to work, so that you can do it comfortably, without putting too much strain on your back, arms and eyes. • Draw a design of the piece before you start weaving, based on something that inspires and fills you, something that makes you vibrate with your project. • Put the design on paper and place it on the back of your loom so that you can weave with the piece inverted for the first time, without great difficulty. • Pay attention to the type of yarn you are going to choose, so that you can weave more detailed shapes. • Leave a good part of your piece without much texture so you can practice the embroidery stitches. After taking some courses in 2015, she started to work with frame loom tapestry, macramé, and embroidery, developing her own visual language and style.
At the beginning of 2016, she created her brand Oficina 166 and at the end of 2017, she expanded her studio to work with a team of two people while teaching creative workshops and courses.
She has held two exhibitions in Lisbon and works with clients in several countries such as the United States, Luxembourg, Belgium, Angola, and Portugal.
