Mood Board and Briefs Start by creating an image library and pull references for everything and anything that inspires you! You’ll use this in all your projects moving forward. Then, create a mood board, a wardrobe brief, and a shot list to make sure you feel fully prepared on the day of the photoshoot. Settings Before the Photoshoot Test out your lighting plans and have your camera in the right settings. Get your talent on set and go through the photoshoot with them. Explain your ideas and expectations and work with them.

The Photoshoot Take your pictures! Have fun, get creative, and trust your gut. Throw your plans out the window if you find something better as you shoot.
