Gouache Techniques for Illustration

I loved this course. Emma has such an easy going teaching style but is also very precise. I loved the way she taught the colour palette through little pictures of ice cream cones and baskets. So charming. I have never worked with gouache and so seeing it used in this way has inspired me to use it regularly in a sketchbook.

Gostei do curso, deu para relembrar as técnicas de guache e voltar a praticar mais nas minhas ilustrações. Também gostei de poder resumir as informações da foto/ referência no meu sketch, e poder criar o essencial na ilustração.

I was captivated by her introductory video. She explains clearly and I love her use of color. I’m currently working on my project and should post soon. Highly recommend!

as a novice painter i really enjoyed this course - lots of info & techniques and a really nice teaching style.
i did find the background music a bit cringeworthy at times!

I would have also liked to have a list of the colors she used. Also it was hard to see her painting. The camera should be closer to her painting.
