This is a really sweet course. Emma clearly put a lot of effort into this, and I love how calm and clear she speaks. Watching her paint also has a meditative quality to it, and she explains absolutely everything as she goes. Thanks, Emma!

Un cours vraiment intéressant

I really enjoyed Emma's class. It's a great introduction to gouache with enough détail to be informative without being overwheming. Her recommendations and instructions are easy to understand and to follow along. She includes lovely examples that inspired me to pursue this style of painting. She also provides a number of helpful tips.

I love Emma Block, and I already bought her book last year. Now I saw her course here, and I decided to buy it and I don't regret it! Gouache is something I haven't tried before, but I love using it being a watercolour fan. I definitely recommend this course. Emma explains it all very well, in such a calming way, I love it!

I absolutely loved the course and have already done two paintings.
I’ve never used gouache paints before so for me this was new.
Emma has been great at explaining everything from sketching choosing the right colours and adding the final details from start to finish.
Anyone who wants to have ago at illustration ,then have ago at this course, you won’t be disappointed.

One of the best courses I've done on Domestika (so far :0). Emma is a brilliant teacher, making each progressive step feel completely accessible. I've had a set of gouache paints for a year and have been too intimidated to play with them. Now that I'm doing the course I've filled up several pages in my notebook and am so excited about doing more.

As an aside - the looped music in the background gets very tiresome. It would be good to have to option to turn the music off.
