“ Finishing the Portrait Now, I'll show you how to finish your portrait and give you care tips to keep your embroidery nice and clean. First, I comb through my embroidery with the eye of the needle. It helps the thread come together and closes any gaps you may have made from stitching into previous stitches. Combing through the portrait brings up any big pet hairs or fuzzies you may have stitched into the portrait. If they're small, it may help hide some little fuzzies between the other stitches. Make sure to comb in the same direction of your stitches and not go against or opposite of them...”
