“ The Nose, the Chin, and the Cheeks Now, I'll move on to the rest of the face, starting with the nose, chin, and cheeks. Starting with the nose, first, stitch the nostrils with 310 and fill them in. I'll use this black thread later, so I'll park it aside now. There's a highlight along the left side of the nose which I'll fill in with 535. Just like with the eyes and ears, I'm using horizontal stitches. I had a really hard knot and I couldn't get it out. I tried to pull it through the fabric but it wouldn't go. In 2021, she also published a book, Pet Portrait Embroidery, filled with patterns and guides to help others create custom pet portraits of their own.
