“ Different Types of Clay In this lesson, we'll look at what clays are suitable for ceramic 3D printing. In fact, many of the types of clay that you can find are suitable for printing. They just don't come in the right consistency. Often, out of the pack, the clay is suitable for wheel throwing or hand building. This is too hard to print with. So we need to soften it down, make it less hard. This is something we'll teach you in one of the next lessons. First, I'll show you what is a good clay to start with. Then, you'll know what to ask for the next time you're in your ceramic supply store....”
