They just don't come in the right consistency. Often, out of the pack, the clay is suitable for wheel throwing or hand building. This is too hard to print with. So we need to soften it down, make it less hard. This is something we'll teach you in one of the next lessons. First, I'll show you what is a good clay to start with.
