“Priming and Dying the Edge We will now apply the primer to the edge. When applying the primer, never shake the bottle up and down; swirl it in a circular motion. If you shake it, you will create bubbles. If you create bubbles, you can't use it until they've disappeared. Primer is a thick paint that we use to seal the edge. We will then paint over the primer. Since it’s dense, it creates volume which will create a curved edge. To apply the primer, we’ll use a ruling pen. You can buy it at any stationery store.
