“The Finishing Touches In this lesson, we'll finalize the drawing by adding some details and tidying up the contours. I'll start by adding the details to the trees. I'll use the grattage technique and add a coat so I can scrape it after. I add a coat of bronze and then, I'll scrape it to reveal the blue that's underneath. Now, I can scrape with my graver. You can also do this with a toothpick. The grattage allows me to add details and so, I can often do it at the end to finalize the drawing. I can do the branches, here. We've finished the grattage.
