“ References In this lesson, we'll get inspired to create our own patches by looking at reference images. When you look at reference images of embellished clothing, you might find a lot of embroidery is placed directly on garments, which is fine. I prefer the method of stitching a patch first so you don't need to worry about permanently altering the state of your garment. If something happens to a jacket, for instance, that you've embroidered on, then it's stuck on there, whereas if you stitch on a patch and something happens to your jacket, you can remove that patch and add it to a new gar...”
