“The Spectrum of Scenes Now that you know a bit about my influences, in this lesson we will talk about the spectrum of scenes. The basic idea of scene is how much can your readers see about the characters. On one side of the spectrum, you may have almost no information about where the characters are, but as you start to move into the scene, you might show basic stuff like what can the reader see, what can the characters see? As you move further into the spectrum, you can talk about sounds. What can the characters hear? What can the readers hear? In the most immersive descriptions of the scen...”
