About the video: Finishing Touches 1

Overview

“As we get to the finishing touches of the project, I will show you how to apply latex to your backing material to secure your final artwork. Then, I'll explain how to draw a line around the design to cut the excess fabric and take the piece off the frame. That will allow me to fold over the edges and glue them to the back with a glue gun.”

In this video lesson Trish Andersen addresses the topic: Finishing Touches 1, which is part of the Domestika online course: Introduction to Tufting: Learn to Paint with Yarn. Discover how to combine tufting techniques like cut pile and loop pile to create colorful and expressive pieces of textile art.
