A course by Trish Andersen
Trish Andersen is a fiber artist from Dalton, Georgia. She first started experimenting with crafts when she was diagnosed with leukemia at just two years old. During her three-year treatment, she used art as a way to interpret the world around her. She later began studying graphic design at Savannah School of Art and Design before moving on to interior designer, where she discovered a love for fiber art. After graduating, she moved to New York in 2005, where she created displays for Anthropologie and later started her own studio in 2007. In search of a new creative outlet, she came across tufting and began sharing her work online.
Trish now works full-time creating fiber art for clients all over the world including Coca-Cola, who commissioned her to create a piece of artwork inspired by her hometown. She also continues to share her work with over 100K followers on Instagram.
