“ Tufting: Loop Gun In this lesson, we'll continue with the final project and switch over to the loop pile gun. The loop pile gun works very similarly to the cut pile. It makes loops instead of cutting the yarn, we went through this before where you saw the scissors coming out. They thread exactly the same way. Then, you still have your trigger, you have the on and off switch here, and also, the speed little dial at the bottom. When you start with this, I'd suggest turning your speed dial all the way to the right. I'll turn it on and we'll test it to see what that sounds like. Just to hear ...”

Trish Andersen is a fiber artist from Dalton, Georgia. She first started experimenting with crafts when she was diagnosed with leukemia at just two years old. During her three-year treatment, she used art as a way to interpret the world around her. She later began studying graphic design at Savannah School of Art and Design before moving on to interior designer, where she discovered a love for fiber art. After graduating, she moved to New York in 2005, where she created displays for Anthropologie and later started her own studio in 2007. In search of a new creative outlet, she came across tufting and began sharing her work online.
Trish now works full-time creating fiber art for clients all over the world including Coca-Cola, who commissioned her to create a piece of artwork inspired by her hometown. She also continues to share her work with over 100K followers on Instagram.
