Jimena Agois is a photographer and food stylist with a passion for travel based in Lima, Peru. Her love and appreciation of good food was apparent from a young age and she soon made it part of her day-to-day through her photography.
She started out as an assistant to Chilean photographer Miguel Etchepare and later specialized in food photography while also dabbling in travel and documentary photography. Since 2004, she's been managing her own photography studio, Agoisfoto, which is dedicated to the creation, production, styling, and preparation of product and food photographs.
She's worked with restaurants including Central, Astrid & Gaston, Mayta, D'Sala, Pescados Capitales, and more, at both a national and international level. She has also been collaborating as editor of the Diario Correo food column since 2012 and been a Canon ambassador since 2018.
