“Starting to Film In this lesson, we’ll look at how to work outside. When I arrive at the location where I’ll work, I first look for where the sun is. The sun will be very important for the camera angle that you’ll use. If I have any ability to control what I’m seeing and to decide if the action will happen here or there, I’ll change my position to coordinate that. If the action’s location is nonnegotiable, I’ll have a margin to place myself more to the left or right and to use that natural light to get the best photography without bringing spotlights or extraneous elements.
