A nice course, but very shallow and very artistic. I expected a bit of a different content from the Title and the description. Nevertheless a nice course for very early stages.

Sonja instructs on how to take a seemingly elusive research project approachable and convey/illustrate a meaningful concept/story. I am so enthralled with this specialty that I am going to pursue data visualization as a profession. It combines the best of my inclination to be curious and research all kinds of topics with my imagination as an artist.

Great informative course

I found the course to be easy to follow. The instructor Sonja is excited about her work and that shows. I found the introduction to be inspiring. The main part of the course however, was more basic than what I was expecting. I am still curious how to visualize a more complex set of data. If there were a follow-up course, I would be in!

I have learned from a course similar to this, so there is no new insight that I get from this course. The flow of content is very much the same between Domestika courses, so to me, it is as if I am just doing another project with a different title. The instructor explains the steps very well but if you already have some knowledge on how to turn data into arts, then you might find this course to be very basic.

Es útil en la medida en que ofrece con una instrucción muy clara una forma creativa de combinar distintos elementos gráficos en un alfabeto visual único que se puede usar en visualizaciones aplicables a cualquier tema o contexto.

I was truly skeptical when I started, mostly because I come from a solid engineering/data management background and have zero artistic ability. Sonja's approach to the course emphasized the data portion (my comfort zone), while showing me how to present the data in an aesthetically pleasing way going beyond typical business-level charts and graphs.
I'm thinking to open my own data management/design studio after retirement, and this course has given me an excellent first step.

I really enjoyed this course--the pace and the detail of instruction was perfect. I didn't do a project along the way, but I'm excited about keeping my mind open for an idea that would fit this project in the future. As a graphic designer, I do a lot of more simple infographics, but this takes it to another level. Great course!
