About the final project for: Badge Logo Design for Beginners in Illustrator

Badge Logo Design for Beginners in Illustrator

“Congratulations! You have now reached the end of this Domestika course. Thanks for taking part! I hope you had fun and were able to learn something new about badge logos. Before I say goodbye, I'd like to give some last tips and tricks to help you with your final project. First, seek out some inspiration and create a mood board. Use the history of crew branding as a starting point, and then take personal inspiration from your surroundings.

Then, think about what defines your crew. What connects you as members? What identifies you as unique? Decide on a crew name and image. But remember, be conscious of the letter count! Determine which imagery, lettering style, and visual tone to design with by sketching thumbnails of badge ideas: shapes, lettering, and imagery.
Vectorize your selected sketch and edit it to add more character and detail.
Select your color palette and make any final tweaks to personalize your logo. These can be things like adding the date of establishment or location. These small details will make your logo shine, tying your piece together and adding a unique flair. The individuality of your logo is essential; add your personal stamp and don't replicate mine! I created a logo for my friend and his crew. When it's time to create your project, keep in mind that every crew is different; your design must be distinctive and unique to your crew.
And that concludes my tips and tricks! Please share your final project on the forum and engage with the Domestika community. I promise I’ll do my best to keep an eye on your project. But, when I'm absent, remember that the forum is home to a vibrant community of like-minded logo enthusiasts! So, don't hesitate to give feedback and build each other up. See you there. ”

Don't forget to use the history of badge making as a starting point for your crew logo. Find your sources of inspiration to work on your ideas. I encourage you to work on your mood board. Don't use mine. You'll find that it will be helpful in your creative process. To build new ideas that make your crew unique, look within your crew itself and find the connecting points of each of the members of your crew. Look at things like the region you're located in and inside ...”
