“The sketches Once the reference images have been collected, we can open Procreate and start drawing. In this lesson I will explain how to create and then finalize the drawing of the character. Since our focus is on the character and not the background or on other elements of the setting, we use a drawing pad that is taller than it is wide. I, usually, to create illustrations in portrait mode use of drawing sheets of 3,240 x 4,050 pixels, but you can use any of the size you want.
