I put a lot of thought into my pieces, you don't have to write an extensive backstory or lore for every illustration that you make, but it's a good idea to think about what happened before this image and what happens afterwards. Where was your character before? Where will they be after? What will happen to this environment before and after? This sort of thinking allows you to get specific with the choices you make in your illustration. ...”
