A course by Ilary Bottini
Ilary Bottini is a weaver and textile designer. After graduating with a degree in modern languages from the University of Urbino, she began her career in the communications field in Paris, where she lived for nearly a decade.
In 2015, she created Color Pastello, a blog devoted to her two greatest passions: decoration and interior design. Coincidentally, she took a beginner's course on weaving taught by a French designer around the same time and instantly fell in love with the art form.
In 2020, she left her career in communication behind and started weaving and teaching full time. She even launched her own line of weaving looms. Her efforts have paid off as her work was selected for the 30th annual MiniArTextil exhibit. She currently collaborates with brands, architects, and publishers on artistic projects where she creates woven art and shares her knowledge of weaving.
