“In our last lesson, we looked at understanding platform. In this lesson, we're going to tackle writing one of the hardest components of the book proposal, the overview. One of the reasons that writing a book proposal is so challenging is that it's hard to write about are writing. But that is what a book proposal is. It's us writing about what makes our writing so great. To my mind, there are three parts of a book proposal that are really chewy and difficult. The overview, the comp title analysis, and the bio and marketing plan. Now, an overview is difficult because it's an executive summary...”
