“Packaging, Maintenance, and Washing In this lesson, I’ll walk you through how to maintain your espadrilles. First and foremost, as we all know, do not use water on them. If something comes up and they get wet, or maybe it’s raining and you can't avoid getting them wet, what you need to do is let them dry for a whole day. Do not put them on or move them. We want to keep the fabric and the sole, being organic, and a fabric like the top part, from warping. If it’s raining, make sure the sides are the only thing getting wet.
