“Hi, my name is George Georgiev. And welcome to this Domestika course. I'm from Bulgaria and unlike most children, I didn't quite enjoy drawing in my school years. So, I decided to take another path in the university. and I started studying law. But as the time passed, I realized this is not for me, I'm not very interested in this, and I couldn't imagine myself doing this for the rest of my life. And right about that time, a friend of mine brought a comic book called Battle Chasers by Joe Mad. And when I saw it, I was just smashed by the style and how awesome it is. Georgi Georgiev is an illustrator and visual artist from Bulgaria. Despite having worked as a professional artist for over a decade, he started out studying law. After realizing it wasn’t his passion and becoming inspired by a comic book his friend introduced him to, he discovered his real calling: drawing. From there, he began teaching himself how to draw digitally through online tutorials and posting his work on art forums. He was quickly offered a job, which allowed him to quit law school and pursue his career as an artist.

Now Georgi works in the movie and game industry, creating everything from characters to magical worlds. He is known for designing characters with paper-like hair which he shares with over 50K followers on Instagram, and he has also designed book covers.
