“Exploring color palettes with patterns I'll do this last flower, on the right this time. I decided to do five petals. You can choose whatever number you like. It's not that important. But remember the petals need to be fairly large, so the little flowers that mix with them can merge properly. This exercise is also useful for practicing speed. Meaning that if we want the best possible fusion, we don't need to wait for the watercolors to dry. That's why I come back to it often to moisten each petal so that it doesn't dry out.
