“Cutting and Fitting Your Glass Now that we've cut the pieces, I'll grind them and get a snug fit. I brought my grinder and placed it next to my glass pieces for an easy transition. For my designs, I tend to use a standard grit for my bit. You have fine, standard and rapid. Rapid is to eliminate a lot of glass, fine is for super detailed cuts and standard is pretty standard. It's diamond-coated for the glass grinding. They last for quite some time. You will notice when you need to replace it. All models of grinders come with setup instructions.
