“Foiling and Soldering In this lesson, now that I'm happy with the fit of my pieces, I'll wash them. If we don't, there'll be some residual glass, dust and grit on those pieces and the copper foil won’t adhere properly. We'll give them a bath. After that, we’ll move on to copper foiling and soldering. Washing your Pieces After grinding, you'll notice a milky white film on the glass. That's the residual glass dust, very fine powder. As you get that off of the pieces, check the edges of it and dunk it in lukewarm water. You can do it under running water, which I prefer. Make sure to get the re...”
